I didn’t want this book to end. Its a book about family, love and loss, regret and consequences, but most importantly, its a book about people. Which, I think, is why I liked it so much. Its tagged as a ghost story, and in a way, it is. But its about more than that. Its about longing for what was, what could be, but also what might have been. That said, there is a lot of hope, as our characters struggle to understand themselves and each other.
If you have ever longed for something, wondered what might have been, or just love a well told story about people, this book is for you.
To learn more about the book, or the author, you can find out more, here. This was her first novel, and I truly hope she has another one coming out soon.
Hope you guys enjoyed this small interlude for Whatcha’ Readin’ Wednesday. Maybe next week will be an actual review, but I doubt it, since I hate reading book reviews. 🙂
